Halfway Normal

Ok, from now for a bit you are going to get some really bad jokes. You see, we are currently with Alice and Steve in Normal Illinois. That is where they live when Alice is not in West Lafayette. So before the conference next week we are following Alice on her journey around Illinois and Wisconsin. These are the photos from today's jouorney to Normal.

There are 4 towns along the way. One was Hoopeston with a strange reputation...

They were harvesting all the corn and soy along the way and here is a beautiful picture of it.

And here is a beautiful picture of the harvested corn that would not fit in the many, many silos.

Apart from corn and soy, in Illinois, they also farm wind! (No, not methane!)
