The next morning, all refreshed and facing a fabulous day we packed up then went for a walk through the old town. The hotel was just at the south side, so it was easy.
For those who don't know, here is a bit about Nuremberg from Wiki.
Just outside the walls.
The gate and the wall.
Lorenzer Platz and Lorenzkirche (15th century).
The city's oldest house, Nassauer Haus.
There were some different kinds of statues in this Protestant city.
Next church - Frauenkirche.
The Hauptmarkt - main market place - still with interesting stalls.
Schoner Brunnen - beautiful fountain - 19m high.
Lots of old houses.
The Altes Rathaus - old city hall - 1616-1622
On the left here is the Stadtmuseum - municpal museum which we went into. It is a 16th century merchant's house.
The wall on the northern side of the city.
A bronze sculpture called The Hare - A Tribute to Durer shows the dire result of tampering with nature.

Lastly was the sombering place of the Nuremberg rallies. Now just a park, it was still spooky.
Then we drove out of Nuremberg. Fantastic history!
