IT'S 30F DEGREES

Yes, that's right. It is below freezing and snowing. We were expecting a cold change, but this is rediculous. The wind is at 25 miles per hour, so much that the weather says that it feels like 16F. THAT'S LIKE 8C BELOW ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We walked out at 10am and stood at the bus stop. Luckily we knew it was a bit colder than it has been and wore jumpers and jackets, but we didn't take beanies and our ears froze. The snow hasn't settled, but it was enough to get in your eyes when walking and stay in your hair and on your jacket for a while.

It's 65F inside at the moment and we put it up a little more at night (I'm a cold frog) so it is cozy in here. The problem is we just got our electricity bill and it was $75 for a month! The heating 24/7 apart from the last couple of days, 2 computers most days, TV most days (there are music channels for while I work), cooking and hot water. It was 983kWh so you can compare that with what you all use. Remember, that we don't have gas for anything.

That's the price we are willing to pay to stay warm. Hopefully the weather will warm up again and we won't need the heating. As for outside, we will dress warmly and still complain!
