Still cold

It is currently 34F in West Lafayette with a wind chill down to 24F. Not as bad as yesterday, but still, standing at the bus stop at 7:45 this morning, just as the sun was appearing on the horizon was torture. Beautiful, but torture. The sky was absolutely clear, the sun was on the horizon, there was frost all over the grass, only a slight breeze, and 25F. I bundled up in my long johns, jacket, beanie, scarf, ski gloves, and boots. Probably looked a sight, but it helped a bit. This is what the current temperature map looks like. Can you pick where we are?

Just for comparison (in degrees F).

Apparently it was colder yesterday than it was on Christmas day for most of the country. Still, that's no reason to still have Christmas decorations out like this person. It is Easter. Wrong season, but the snow flakes ring true!
