Preparing the back yard

There was still some mulch to be spread in the backyard.

First you put down paper, then the dog picks it up again.

The dog chews on the paper and shreds it a bit for better spreading.

Then you extract the bag from the dog's jaws, called "opening the bag", and tip it onto the paper.

The dog will help by taking the empty bag away.

The mulch is spread around over th paper.

The dog does a final survey and decides that he is a "good boy".
